Made from solid boxwood and sheesham this lovely chess set feels solid & sturdy and will provide years of use. The chess board has been carefully inlaid from individual slices of rich hardwood. Housed inside the cabinet are the solid wooden pieces, carved from Sheesham and Boxwood.
The Chessmen are a classic Staunton and hold an amazing amount of detail considering their compact size. The pieces are also magnetic which allows them to stick to the board. A beautiful set that has been finished to a very high standard.
