A large chess board with inlaid squares. This board is a veneer type with each square inlaid from a separate piece of wood. There is alpha numeric notation on the board and green felt protectors on the base. The board has squares measuring 48mm which is just under 2 inches. A heavy chess board that is solid and robust, expect to get years if not decades of use from it.
This classic wooden chess board has been manufactured in Europe by the Polish Chess Company.
