There is no denying the classical good look of a Staunton chess set. This set encompasses very good value for money. With a 3.7 inch King this set is ideal for our Number 5 Chess Boards. Carefully crafted and single weighted these pieces feel great in the hand and glide across the board nicely. Sourced from a European chess manufacturer with years of experience. With a slightly rustic feel to them these pieces are not as finely detailed as their Indian cousins, they do however have quite a special charm to them which we really like here at JDS.
Presented in a sturdy wooden case you can expect this chess set to last for years if not decades. Hand crafted in the EU by the Polish Chess Company.
